I’m desperately in need of a bit of a wardrobe update, but if there’s one thing I hate it’s spending hours on the highstreet and coming home empty handed. I’m not a good shopper; I can’t spot an outfit from 50 paces and I often struggle with knowing what would look good on me. So, when I was asked to try out the new fashion shopping site, Style in View, I thought it might give me a chance to avoid the shops and do some fashion-finding in the comfort of my own armchair.
Style in View collects together items from sites across the net, some highstreet stores and some online only, and shows them to you on one easy-to-navigate site. One feature of the site that I absolutely love is that it allows you to create and save your own looks; as you scroll through the site, you simply have to click on the top right hand corner of items you like and it’ll add them to your lookbook for you. Here’s one I made earlier!
What do you think? I love the idea of a capsule wardrobe for summer and I think what I’ve picked would be brilliant for a summer city break, but I could just as happily wear all of the items every day! Why don’t you go and make your own look, and if you do, share the link with me so I can have a nose!
I love the Style in View site. It gives me the chance to see what goes together in a no-pressure environment and means that I don’t have to go from shop to shop, changing room to changing room, getting frustrated with my own choices.
